Lighthouses
Fixed points for passing ships and landmark of the place, Sylt’s lighthouses and beacons fulfil functional and representative roles. Kampen has two of these beautiful giants.
But there are no more lighthouse stories because since 1978 the lighthouses have been remote-controlled from the mainland.
